Well folks now that the terrible holidays are over and everyone is either snowed in or going back to the factory for so much after x-mas slavery in order to keep the cycle of work-produce-consume alive and well in the *trumpets please* GREATER HAZLETON AREA!!@!!!!$%^, we here at Hazleton Pravda have finally squirrled enough time away to send you a few items that have been waiting in the wings for us to catch our breath and actually do them. ENJOY! ENJOY! More to come!

O Factory Line

A Festive Yuletide Song of the Joys of Being Chained to the Factory Line in Hazleton
By Scoop Donkey

O Factory Line, o Factory Line
How loyal are your associates; sic slaves?
You're running not only
in the summertime,
No, when it snows workers are droning on the line.
O Factory Line, o Factory Line
How much production do you really need?

Grind it up, we’ll make you more
For we are all your wage slave whores
We’ve sold are souls for endless toil
In hopes we’re planted in your polluted soil

O Factory Line, o Factory Line
Your slaves can never please you
How often do you have breaktime?
A line like you kills body and the mind!
O Factory Line, o Factory Line,
You’re so much more then a meatgrinder!

You chew us up and we give thanks
We swarm to you in endless ranks
Please give us just another shift
We can not rest unless we’re whipped

O Factory Line, o Factory Line
Your middle managers want
To make stay in overtime:
Your hopelessness is so endearing
Providing purpose and order
at all time.
O Factory Line, o Factory Line,
You’d think I’d learn to know my place.

Under your so watchful eye
We can work until we die
With pleasant thoughts of
Your enduring crimes

O Factory Line, o factory Line
You are so damn exhausting!

John Lennon Honored in Last Month’s WEEKENDER

Yes it can be said to be a good thing to honor a great artist such as Lennon, excepting for the fact that he PROBABLY would have loathed the fact that he is celebrated on the day (or in this case, the week) of his death. John Lennon was all about life. It would certainly make more sense if these boobs calling themselves journalists would honor a man about life on his birthday, October 9th. Ah, the uncultured and uncivilized of North East Pennsyltucky! It is admirable that local area musicians filled several pages in tribute to the man shot to death in New York City, December 1980, but again foolish to honor him on the most tragic day of his amazing life.
